About

I have been practicing yoga for over a decade and am continuously falling more in love with my practice.  This blog is a place for me to muse, ponder and reflect on life, yoga and other ancient wisdoms and how I experience them in this modern world. Hopefully I can interact with other yogis or more yoga-curious types.

A bit more background- I love baking, holistic cooking, music, writing, and my family.  I am a recovering cynic with a dose of snark that I try to keep under control, but escapes me from time to time. I am continually attempting to better live my practice.

For the record, I have no issue with sloths (nor is there a sloth pose that I’m familiar with), I just used to be one.  🙂

  1. Hey Chris,
I just found your blog and was thrilled to see that not only are you a vegan chef but a yogini too! We have a lot in common. I am sort of the other way around. I am a professional yoga teacher and a talented, very objective and enthusiastic vegan cook. I can’t wait to order your cookbook and will put a plug in for it on my blog o2vegan.wordpress.com. Looking forward to making the boston cream pie. Peace, love, om, and chocolate Mimi Loureiro
